Do you know am baffled when it’s time to talk to teenagers about dating? There seems to be a difference between dating in our contemporary time and back in the days.

One thing that has changed about teens and dating since you were a teen is that they are dating younger and younger. Why would teenagers think it is okay to be allowed to start such an amorous affair at that tender age? I remember being 17 years old when I made the first move to have a relationship. But these days, teenagers are becoming more daring wanting to act like the adults that they want to be even when they too young to understand relationships. You know what that means.

Teenage pregnancy everywhere. And one begins to wonder who is to be held responsible for the irresponsible acts. The parents? the Society? or the Teenagers themselves?

There is need for us to define the appropriate age for starting dating for our teenagers. This is becoming necessary with the prevalent cases of teenage pregnancies. Something has to be done.
